I have been looking for a way to access a calendar on the go and also on my computer and if you are using a PC you don’t have iCal like Mac users you end up having multiple calendars. With this simple setup, you can use your Google Calendar on your iphone like it is your default calendar and also your phone will sync itself to the google calendar too so if you view your calendar online, you will see your entries.
Here are the steps you need to follow
- On your iPhone, go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Add Account > Other > Add CalDAV Account
- For the CalDAV settings, enter the following information. Note that your username should be the email address you use to access your Google calendar as well as the password.
- Then tap “Next” and your account will be verified.
- Now your calendar is set up but you need to go to your “Mail, Contacts, Calendars” window again and scroll all the way down to your “Calendars” and choose your Google Account from there.
- Note: If you run into any problems with the verification, tap “Advanced settings” and make sure that “Use SSL” is On, that the port is 443, and that your Account URL includes the sign “@” in your email address.
Thank you for the informative work. Please visit my 2010 calendars site for return :)
Hey I just wanted to let you know, I actually like the writing on your site. But I am utilising Chromium on a machine running version 8.x of Crashbang Ubuntu and the design aren’t quite proper. Not a important deal, I can still fundamentally read the articles and research for info, but just wanted to inform you about that. The navigation bar is kind of challenging to use with the config I’m running. Keep up the superb work!
Thanks for telling me about that. Ill check that out. Ill probably install a virtual machine and test it out that way. :)
nice articles you have here, thank you for putting your time into it!
